The weekend

This past weekend my 18 year old brother graduated high school. Though I still have three years until I graduate I was thinking about how I would feel when that day came. I was sad. My best friend of ten years and I would go our separate ways. Would we talk every day like we do now? Would our kids be best friends and get married like we planned? I got a little scared but I knew that I had to make these last three years the best.

My extended family also came down for this event. Which got me thinking again. Twenty years from now my grandparents, most likely, won't be here and my mom would be the grandparent to my kids. Me and my brothers would be getting a long fine and have our own careers. One day I'm gonna be telling my kids about these days maybe they'll listen to my stories or maybe they'll just nod but tune out. I made sure I listened to all the stories that were told this weekend. For one day ill be telling them to my kids so nobody forgets them.

Respect for Mothers

It's my moms birthday today. I get mad at her a lot. Afterwards, I always regret it. I hate being mean to people. It makes me feel like a bully and I know the person on the other end of my meanness is feeling worse than I am. My mom is always there for me. When I screw up she helps me get back on track. Though she is always nagging I know that means she cares.

The rose is a symbol for unconscious beauty. Most people are unconscious of their beauty. I love showing my mom that she is beautiful and I love her.

12

12 was the age when it happened.
12 was the age when it all hit me.

It came way too fast.

If I had done things different would it have been 13?
Would it have not happened at all?

12 was the age when I started to see myself as different,
12 was the age I actually saw myself.

It came way to fast.

Before that I had innocence,
that turned into insecurities.

No more barbies or prince charming
just fat thighs and dark under eyes.

I wish I could erase it all,
all of my thoughts I've had since I hit year 12.

Not everyone is friends anymore
classes get segregated into cliques.

12 is the age for every girl.
12 is the age you see the world for what it really is.

It came way too fast.

You understand all the horrid things that can happen,
as soon as you step out of the house.

You understand all the horrid things that can happen,
even inside of the house.

I wish I could go back to 11
before I understood the word reality.

Perks of Living by the Beach

Just wanted to share with the world why I love the east coast sunrises and sunsets. I've acquired all of these over time.. Whilst driving, at my house, at my friends house.

Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart.

That quote is from Nicholas Sparks "The Notebook". I share the same love as Sparks. the east coast.

If Introverts Ruled the World

If introverts ruled the world there would be no wars. Everyone would stay in their comfort zone and be content. We would be comfortable in our own bodies. There would be no wanting to be anorexic model skinny. There would be no more focusing on making everybody around us happy. We would do everything to make ourselves happy. We would all be individualists.  Everyone would keep to themselves and mind there own business.
Everyone would be at home or surrounded by nature. Most of all, there would be no tension. We wouldn't worry so much.Watching the sun go down while drinking a cup of tea from a balcony would be the highlight of every day.

All around, introverts would rule the perfect world.

Today we worry so much because money is the national anthem. Money is what we rely on. We get so caught up in money that we don't take time to appreciate the small things. The people who do appreciate the small things are truly the happiest. Money is the anthem of success. But if it is actual success you want, just be happy. We are all going to die. It doesn't matter whether you're a millionaire or rely on pennies from underneath the couch cushions. We all end up the same way. If Introverts ruled the world we would finally focus on ourselves and what makes ourselves happy. Take a tip from an introvert and rely on the small things to make you happy.

The beginning of the End

So this is officially my first blog post, well maybe unofficially. After deciding between Blogger and WordPress I happened to come across the fact when I was ten I had already made a Blogger. So after finding that out I have decided to not make a new blog, and to just transform this one. Maybe one day I will look back at this post and have a sense of accomplishment because I'll know how far I've come. Or I will look back at this and laugh my bum off because of how much I've changed and wonder why I wrote this, just like we all do as we look back at old Facebook posts.

The title of this post is The Beginning of the End. 2012 was the year we were supposed to die, by the world blowing up. Now we are in 2013, that means the world didn't blow up. This isn't the end, it is the beginning of the end or you can call it pre-end. Right now it is the beginning of my end. It is the beginning of your end as well or maybe it's the middle of your end or it could be the end of your end. I don't know. I'm just telling you it is the beginning of my end. I know you are totally confused right now. I will now explain. We are all going. That is a quote from Looking For Alaska. We are all going. Do you know what that means? It is the beginning of my going. Everyone dies at one point. That point is not when you leave this earth but when someone says your name for the last time. I'm not afraid of leaving this earth, I'm afraid of dying. Code for: I want to be known, I want to start the beginning of my end. If you are afraid to die as well then get off your bum and do something about it.

I slept through half of 2013. Literally. I woke up today and realized it. Now you're probably thinking I'm joking but i'm not. One day I will tell you about my past but now i just want to focus on the present. I was reading through my Seventeen Magazine today and got to the part in the back of the book where the horoscopes are. I'm Gemini. It told me to start a blog. I decided (for once) to accomplish that. But before I started completing that task I ate breakfast. I love oatmeal but i decided to be a rebel today and eat coco krispies. Note; i'm lactose intolerant. I stuck to soy mil though. While i was consuming the most wonderful things in the world was the moment i realized i had slept for 5 months. 5 months of my life that i will never get back. I thought to myself i was going to change; i was going to start the beginning of my end. Starting this blog was just the frosting on the cake because now i get to share my journey with you.

Share me with your friends! XOXO
